Why high fashion is lost on me

And it is not always because I would need to mortgage my soul to buy a bustier.

    Lol lol loved your punch lines. Specially the appu ghar one. But seriously after seeing so many snaps of fashion shows i always ask myself who buys these clothes and how do these people really make money.

    Appu Ghar haha! Saree,Salwar or Jeans are old and boring. Manish’s trying to define a new style for Indian women and he’s doing a magnificent job at that.

    @Smita
    Exactly my question! But I guess selling a single dress should be enough for a year considering their pricing!

    @Neo
    Wonder if these dresses are against our tradition?

    @Rahul

    Try catching a local or a bus in that contraption!

    i think it’d be easier to catch a bus in this. it sure is an attention grabber but surely a people repellent. traffic would be cleared to let u go. hehe

    LOL!!! This is so ridiculous… someone walking down the street in these clothes would certainly attract some attention. Not to mention it must be hard to run from would-be attackers in those costumes. That’s all I think about when I buy clothes. “Can I run from attackers?” Hmm…

    @Roo
    Now that’s a brand new perspective. Maybe worth the price tag after all 😉

    As I said to Neo, wonder if this is against our tradition?
