From India Uncut

Hearing the case of a missing 13-year-old girl, a senior judge on the Bench [of the Delhi High Court] was “shocked” on hearing the girl’s name—“Nirasha” (disappointment). The judge went on to express his reservations about her parents’ choice and was keen to know the reason behind it. As expected, the lawyer for the parents had an answer ready: “My Lord, she was their fifth daughter.”

The state of affairs, no wonder. And according to TOI, thanks to Asians, US has got a skewed sex ratio. Although I doubt if the minority can seriously tilt their balance yet, food for thought.

its sad to still see that the sex ratios are going from bad to worse…… even educated people are acting the same way as uneducated ones …….. no idea what the solution for all this….. my own relative ( a BE and employee of a popular services company ) had expressed disappointment over the birth of his daughter …… no idea when things would change for the better or will things get worse as shown in matrabhoomi 😦
